"Eclipse Viewing | 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Devastated parking area or Bumpass Hell parking area Come witness a solar eclipse - the first in the U.S. in 18 years - from one of two of the best spots in the park. Rangers will be on-site at both locations to answer questions and to help you enjoy the experience. Viewing will begin at 5:00 p.m., with the maximum eclipse occurring at approximately 6:30 p.m. The eclipse will complete at approximately 8:20 p.m. Solar shades are required to safely experience this event and are available for $1.95 at the Lassen Bookstore in the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center."
